HR Administrator

Our Client based in South Devon are looking to recruit an HR Administrator to provide support to the Senior Management Team in a rapidly growing company. This is a fantastic opportunity for a highly motivated individual to join on a full-time basis in this new role. You will work closely with an Administrative Assistant to provide a range of HR services throughout the business and compliance related matters, where required.

Responsibilies include:

  • Develop and implement HR procedures and policies
  • Maintain all HR-related documents
  • Ensure company compliance with changes in Employment Law and related legislation
  • Manage employee, salary and pension communication with our payroll provider
  • Manage the recruitment process for new staff
  • Seeking advice and working together with external HR lawyer if needed
  • Researching complex issues and communicating them clearly
  • Perform other related duties as required.

The ideal candidate will bring these skills and experience to the role:

  • Experience in a similar role
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Accuracy and attention to detail
  • A passion for working with people
  • Good overview of current HR legislation
  • Experience using HR software
  • Great organisational skills
  • Discretion & professional attitude at all times
  • CIPD Level 3 or higher, with the possibility for further training and certification

This role could be for a highly experienced person, or somebody with a passion for what we do and who is willing to learn new skills, and salary will be commensurate with experience.

This permanent position is available immediately. Salary: £19,000 - £22,000 p.a. (depending on experience) based on a 37.5 hour week, with the position attracting 28 days holiday p.a including bank holidays, and a generous company pension.
