Dispatch Operative
Newton Abbot 
9 – 5 p.m.
To ensure customer orders are accurately picked, packed and dispatched on time, while maintaining high standards of safety, quality and efficiency within the dispatch area.
Key Responsibilities
•    Pick and check customer orders accurately and efficiently.
•    Pack products securely and prepare them for dispatch.
•    Ensure all goods are correctly labelled and documented.
•    Load and unload deliveries safely where required.
•    Arrange outgoing orders for collection by couriers and transport providers.
•    Check quantities, product codes and paperwork before dispatch.
•    Operate warehouse equipment safely, including pallet trucks and other relevant machinery.
•    Maintain a clean, organised and safe dispatch area.
•    Report damaged, missing or incorrect goods to the relevant supervisor.
•    Work closely with production, warehouse and logistics teams to meet dispatch deadlines.
•    Follow company health and safety procedures and quality standards.
•    Assist with stock checks and general warehouse duties when required.
Skills & Experience
•    Previous experience in a warehouse, dispatch or manufacturing environment is desirable.
•    Good attention to detail and accuracy.
•    Ability to work efficiently to deadlines.
•    Good communication and teamwork skills.
•    Ability to follow instructions and company procedures.
•    Forklift experience is desirable but not essential.
